Bram Wijnmaalen (1970) is active as a photographer, graphic designer and draughtsman/painter. He also has extensive experience in computer and information technology. Furthermore, his interests lie in music and video/film.

Creativity is a form in which he can express himself well. In the nineties, he was introduced to the art academy in Arnhem and after an introductory course, he followed the graphic design course there. After gaining experience at various graphic and advertising agencies for a number of years, he started working independently. The main focus is on photography. Bram is inspired by both urban environments and nature. He asks himself: What does it do to a person when he sees this image. His work is not only the reproduction of reality, but it allows to experience the atmosphere, the world behind the visual image. Bram is the filter between the subject and the viewer. He also emphasises this by post-processing the photo on the Mac in, for example, Photoshop. 

Musically, he is occupied with electronic composing on the Mac with the occasional strum on the guitar.
